Purchase Options Cancellation Policy
Some products in our store may be offered as a subscription, pre-order, backorder, delayed fulfillment item, bundle, promotional offer, or other special purchase option. This policy explains how these purchase options may be changed, cancelled, charged, fulfilled, returned, or refunded.
By purchasing any subscription, pre-order, backorder, delayed fulfillment item, bundle, promotional offer, or other special purchase option, you agree to this Purchase Options Cancellation Policy, our Terms of Use / Terms of Service, Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription, you agree to receive repeat deliveries based on the product, duration, quantity, delivery schedule, and frequency that you select at checkout or through your subscription account.
Your payment details may be stored securely by Shopify, our payment provider, subscription app provider, or other authorized third-party service provider. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us and/or our authorized service providers to automatically charge your payment method for each recurring order, including applicable product price, shipping fees, taxes, and other charges, unless you cancel or modify your subscription before the applicable cut-off date.
Some subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of their selected term unless cancelled. You are responsible for managing your subscription and keeping your payment, billing, shipping, contact, and account information accurate and updated.
You may cancel, pause, skip, or modify your subscription through the link provided in your order confirmation email, customer account, or subscription management page, where available. Cancellation or modification requests must be made before the next recurring order is processed, charged, packed, or fulfilled.
Once a subscription order has already been processed, charged, packed, handed over for fulfillment, or shipped, it can no longer be cancelled for that cycle. You may still cancel future subscription cycles, subject to this policy.
Because MOOD FOOD products are food items, returns, refunds, and replacements for subscription orders are subject to our Return and Refund Policy. We may reject refund or return requests based on change of mind, taste preference, customer ordering error, failure to cancel before processing, incorrect shipping information, customer unavailability, improper storage, consumed products, opened products without valid quality concern, or issues not attributable to us, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that consumers may have under applicable law for defective, unsafe, misdescribed, expired, damaged, incomplete, or nonconforming goods.
Pre-Orders and Backorders
When you purchase a pre-order or backorder, you are purchasing a product that may be out of stock, newly launched, limited in quantity, not yet available for immediate shipping, awaiting production, awaiting inventory arrival, or scheduled for future fulfillment.
The estimated availability date, shipping date, or delivery timeline provided for a pre-order or backorder is an estimate only and is not guaranteed. Actual fulfillment may be affected by production schedules, supply availability, logistics delays, customs or regulatory issues, courier delays, force majeure events, quality control checks, or other factors beyond our reasonable control.
Depending on the product or offer, we may collect full payment, partial payment, a deposit, or no payment at checkout. We may store your payment method securely through Shopify or our authorized payment provider and charge the remaining balance once the product becomes available, before fulfillment, or according to the terms shown at checkout.
You may request cancellation of a pre-order or backorder only if the order has not yet been processed, packed, fulfilled, or handed over to our logistics provider. Once the order has been processed, packed, fulfilled, or handed over for shipping, it can no longer be cancelled, but you may request a return, refund, or replacement in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.
We reserve the right to cancel any pre-order or backorder at any time due to stock unavailability, production issues, quality concerns, supplier issues, pricing errors, payment issues, suspected fraud, abuse, force majeure, or any other reason permitted by law. If we cancel a paid pre-order or backorder, we will process the applicable refund for the amount paid, subject to bank, payment gateway, and service provider processing timelines.
Pre-order or backorder pricing, promotions, bundles, gifts, and availability may change at any time before fulfillment, unless otherwise required by law. A confirmed pre-order or backorder does not guarantee future product availability beyond the specific order accepted by us.
Failed Payments
If your payment method is declined, expired, unavailable, reversed, disputed, or otherwise cannot be charged, we may attempt to charge the payment method again, request an alternative payment method, suspend fulfillment, delay delivery, cancel the order, cancel the subscription, or terminate the purchase option.
You are responsible for keeping your payment information updated and for paying all amounts due under your purchase option.
Address Changes and Failed Delivery
You are responsible for ensuring that your shipping address, contact number, email address, and delivery information are accurate and updated before each subscription, pre-order, backorder, or special purchase option is processed.
We are not responsible for delays, failed delivery, return-to-sender, spoilage, loss, damage, additional shipping fees, or failed fulfillment caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, unreachable, or undeliverable customer information, to the extent permitted by law.
Abuse, Fraud, and Misuse
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, restrict, or terminate any subscription, pre-order, backorder, promotion, or special purchase option if we determine or reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, unauthorized resale, promo abuse, payment abuse, chargeback abuse, excessive cancellations, false claims, suspicious activity, or violation of our Terms of Use / Terms of Service.
Returns and Refunds
All cancellations, returns, refunds, replacements, and remedies for subscriptions, pre-orders, backorders, and other special purchase options are subject to our Return and Refund Policy, these Terms, the specific offer terms, and applicable law.
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method or another method we determine to be appropriate. Processing timelines may depend on Shopify, payment providers, banks, and other third-party service providers.
